This session will share promising research in using mindfulness and compassion practices in early childhood settings, such as in home visiting and early care and education. Participants will engage in some mindfulness practices and learn about Nebraska Extension's Cultivating Healthy Intentional Mindful Educators (CHIME) program. The CHIME program engages participants in using mindfulness and compassion practices to enhance workplace well-being and teaches mindfulness practices to use with young children.
