Dr. Charles Raison has been quoted to say that “one generation full of deeply loving parents would change the brain of the next generation, and the world.”    When the parents of vulnerable young children so clearly carry past effects of their own toxic stress and trauma into the present, how do we break the cycle ?  A  trauma sensitive assessment of the parents is the key to mapping this change.
