Bio
Julia has supported the development of early care and education professionals through education and research for almost 30 years. Her research focuses on young children’s social-emotional development, in particular the role of caregiving relationships and natural environments (I.e., nature) on self-regulation and executive functions. She currently teaches courses on infant mental health, and methods for working with infants, toddlers, and their families.
