Ticket Registration

How do I register and how much does it cost?

  • Register online. Enter number of tickets you would like to purchase and checkout to pay.
  • Tickets are $50 each.

What is included in the cost of my registration?

  • Conference access on both days, lunch on both days, and refreshments.
  • Lodging and travel costs are not included. Check Venue & Hotel Page for hotel information.

What is the deadline to register?

Registration closes at 5pm on June 11, 2024, or earlier if maximum capacity is reached.

Will attendee receive a confirmation email?

Yes, a registration confirmation email with ticket and conference information will be sent to each attendee once payment is processed. Contact nyci@unl.edu if not received.

I started to register but did not finish. Why is my ticket not in my cart?

Carts with incomplete registrations are deleted after one hour. Please restart the registration process.

Can I buy a ticket the day-of the conference?

No onsite, day-of ticket registrations will be accommodated. Buy your tickets online prior to June 11 (or earlier if capacity is reached).

Payment and Receipt

How can I pay for registration?

  • You can pay with a debit/credit card
  • University of Nebraska departments can pay with a NU Cost object number
  • No check or purchase orders are accepted

Will I receive a payment receipt?

Yes, the person who placed the order will be emailed a payment receipt. If you don't find it in your inbox, please check your spam folder first. If you still can't locate it, feel free to reach out to nyci@unl.edu to request a copy.

How will the charge appear on my financial statement?

The charge will appear from “UNL-CCFL.” If you have further questions, please contact nyci@unl.edu.

Ticket Cancellation

How do I cancel my registration?

Use the request refund form. Refund requests are accepted until June 11, 2024 at 5pm.

What is the cancellation/refund policy?

If I am unable to attend, can I transfer my registration to someone else?

No, but you can request a full refund until June 11, 2024.


Where can I find information the agenda, speakers, plenaries, and session descriptions?

Check the Schedule page and Speakers page.

Is a PDF version of the agenda available?

Yes, you can find it on the Schedule page.

Do I need to pre-select my breakout sessions?

No pre-selection required. Decide which breakout session to attend based on your interest and room capacity. Try to arrive early. Room moderators will close the door at the start of the session or if the room reaches maximum capacity.

Where can I find the assigned locations of breakout sessions?

You can find the assigned breakout rooms on the Schedule page after the agenda is finalized in June 2024.

How long are the breakout sessions?

Sessions are 70 minutes long.

How do I find handouts for my session?

  • Check the Schedule page. Click on a session to find the handouts. Not every breakout session will have handouts available.
  • Handouts will be available on the website starting June 25 and will remain accessible for up to 60 days after the conference ends.

CEUs and Certificates

Are any CEU credits offered?

  • Only Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit has been approved for up to 9.5 hours (MCLE Activity # 261209)
  • For other continuing education (CE) credit: Use the agenda and certificate of attendance (will be emailed after the conference) to request and submit CE credit on your own

I’m an attorney. Can I get CLE credits?

Yes, Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit has been approved for up to 9.5 hours (MCLE Activity #261209). Please check in on both days of the conference when you arrive to receive credit.

When will I get my certificate of attendance?

Attendees who checked in at the conference will receive their certificate of attendance via email after the conference. The email will be sent to the attendee’s email provided at registration. Contact nyci@unl.edu if did not receive one.

Conference Venue/Travel

When does conference check-in begin?

Check-in starts at 8:00am on June 25, 2024. Check-in tables will remain open during both days of the conference for late arrivals.

Where do I find hotel information?

Visit the Venue & Hotel page.

Will there be a mother’s room available?

Yes, a private room with a chair, table, and plug-in will be available. Ask the Help/Information Desk for details.

Where do I find a map of the conference center?

What is the dress code for this event?

Business casual. Rooms temperatures can be unpredictable, so we recommend dressing in layers for comfort. 

Is WI-FI available at the conference yet?

Wi-Fi is available throughout the conference center and does not require a password.
