Amy graduated from Creighton University in 2000 as an Occupational Therapist and has worked with other practitioners, children and their families in a variety of settings with the majority of that in the educational setting. In 2016, she adopted her children from foster care and became a TBRI® Practitioner in 2018 after learning traditional parenting strategies were not effective for her children or those she worked with. She enjoys volunteering for Royal Family Kids Camp, walking, spending time with family, Husker Football, and reading. She founded Connecting Kidz in 2019 and is thankful for the journey that led her to discovering connected parenting for her family and devotes her life and education to helping other families and children overcome challenging behaviors to heal, learn and grow.
